Daily journal April 24, 2001, To be crucified with Christ in life. The importance of sleep. In most cases what you eat is how you sleep except there are certain horrows in life that are so dramatic and chilling that when ones mind recalls that picture, all sleep goes away. Now it is time to pray when this happens to one or it can be devastating. Do not expect the world to care just how much trouble you are caused by all their greed gone to seed. The Bible clearly states, do not covet your neighbors house or land or wife or cattle or a thing that your neighbor has. We were born into the family of God in the Old Testament history and what became Christian after Christ came to the earth for a specific purpose of being the substitute lamb of sacrifice once and for all to pay the price for man's sin. Only Divine blood from the Son of God could pay the price of sin before the throne and he did. From the beginning of our business career people stole from us and it is a miracle that we survived by out running the thieves. However, eventually this caught up and the ultimate sacrifice was made. We had built on good real-estate and worked so hard for so long and we invested ourselves into the finest Interstate Commercial and 100 acres we built our home before an individual who appeared to be an ambassador of Satan, in each case, appeared targeting our properties and were successful in taken them away. The dreams and plans we had for the total development in each case were destroyed because of greed and the Devils hand. I must now put these properties on the altar before God and walk away without any memory whatsoever remaining to haunt me in my weaker times. If I had the choice to have all again less one family member that I would quickly choose to keep the family member and allow all the material goods to go. Therefore I thank God for sparing us all and bring us through the fire even though I came out not as pure gold, but as blackened somewhat although with some damage. It will never be the same as it was because there are scars as there were in the hands of Christ after the crucifixion. I might never have noticed all the people being destroyed every month in every county by foreclosure of homes putting people into the streets, had this not happen as it did. Hiring people was our first mistake early in business, they stole from us heavily and some to the extreme. We overcame by the help of God many things but I truly believe that God took me out of this for a specific reason and something totally different and that being to paint the gospel of Christ and reveal the warning of the things to come upon the earth. We do not need the real estate but oh how I miss it. I made many mistakes in building it as I experimented with solar heat and other things trying to reduce our energy cost. I tried to build a better building with concrete but it was not best. The earth quakes that are now predicted would quickly bring down pre-stressed concrete in my opinion while metal buildings may stand. The design of our house built on the farm was a combination of materials that did not provide proper support in that after I had designed a lightweight floor, we decided to pour concrete on them and concrete sunk down and the company kept pouring concrete to make the floors level but it never was level just sitting on wood. Wood deteriorates so anytime I fear it will come down when the earth shakes and the structure no longer stands. In all good conscious I tried to warn the people that took it but they do not listen any more than sinners listen to the gospel but go the broad way to destruction and avoid the narrow way of salvation for their soul. I am so happy to be alive and have fellowship with Christ the Lord directly as his servant. Who ever saw a happy rich person? I stack these cares like cordwood upon the shoulders of the Lord. I commit all to Thee near Lord. I pray that you would make me free of this terrible feeling of sad.
